"The last 5% of a project takes 50% of the effort. But that last 5% is the only thing the client will remember."
The Pre-Reveal Snagging
Your team must conduct a brutal snagging (punch list) inspection before the client sees the space. Check every hinge, test every light switch, ensure water drains correctly, and look for paint touch-ups. A client finding a loose handle on move-in day instantly diminishes the perceived quality of the entire ₹50 Lakh interior.
The Deep Clean
Construction dust gets everywhere. Don't rely on the contractor's "broom sweep." Hire professional deep cleaners. The house should smell fresh, windows should be streak-free, and inside cabinets must be wiped down. The reveal should feel like walking into a luxury hotel suite.
Handing Over the Manuals
Create a physical (or digital client portal) 'Home Owner's Manual'. It should contain warranty cards for appliances, paint color codes (for future touch-ups), cleaning instructions for specific fabrics or marbles, and contact numbers for the plumber/electrician for post-warranty issues.
Choreographing the Reveal
Don't just hand over the keys. Schedule a walkthrough. Buy a welcome gift (champagne, a custom candle, or a nice houseplant). Walk them through how to use smart home features. And most importantly, have your photographer ready—this is the moment they are happiest, making it the perfect time to ask for a video testimonial.
